Ronald Lee Ridenhour Sr.

RIDENHOUR, Ronald Lee Sr., 76, of Midlothian, formerly of Virginia Beach, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, November 14, 2014. He was born September 5, 1938 to William Walter Ridenhour Jr. and Mildred Ruth Curling Ridenhour in Portsmouth, Va. He spent his early years attending school at Deep Creek in Chesapeake, Va. Ronnie graduated from Deep Creek High in 1958, where he was elected class president all four years. He was an amazing athlete and received a four year scholarship to the University of Richmond. While living and attending school in Richmond, he met the love of his life, Sandra Anne Howell. Ronnie and Sandra were married on August 18, 1961. Ronnie joined the U.S. Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. Ronnie and Sandra have four beautiful children, Ron Jr. (Helga), Holli (Tony), Kelli (Dale), and Matt (Missi). He loved his 10 grandchildren and was proud of their every accomplishment. He and Sandra were committed to bringing up their children in the Lord, Jesus Christ.
