Kathleen Johnson "Kathy" Edelblut

EDELBLUT, Kathleen Johnson "Kathy," 67, of Henrico County, passed away July 29, 2016. As a devoted teacher for Henrico County Public Schools, she spent 35 years loving and shaping the lives of countless children. With a natural competitive spirit, she was always up for a good game of cards or rooting for her favorite baseball team, from little league to professional. You would often hear her shouting, "One more!" She was the daughter of the late Kathleen O'Connor and Edward Francis Johnson; and the daughter-in-law of the late Myrtle Bledsoe and George Henry Edelblut Jr. Kathy was preceded in death by Thomas Edward Edelblut, her loving husband of 39 years. She is survived by her daughter, Katy Cohen and her husband, Greg; her son, Tommy Edelblut Jr. and his wife, Laura; and her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "K-K," Gregory and Edward Cohen and Stacy and Cloe Edelblut.
