I hadn't seen Paul in many years but I've known him my whole adult life. He and his family made me part of theirs a long time ago. I never felt any less than loved. The family are some of the best people I know. I enjoyed the time I had in the fold. Well, not the fold of mystery meat that turned out to be "The Bible" of a cow. (do not ask, just take a bite, I did and then he told me what I ate). That's how it was when we were all together, a magic time over tacos with kids about and jokes. So many our sides hurt from laughing. That's the best and that's how his family was. Of course if we were up in Mescalero, he'd call me "their Token Pilgrim". Lucky for me, the title didn't come with a hat. That's how it was for many wonderful holidays and gatherings. I am so honored to have been cared for by them. Paul, I'm so sorry I didn't get to see you before you went on ahead but I know I'll see you again soon. I love you. I can almost see you in this pre-dawn hour with "Malachi" or as you use to call him, "Duke" at your side. Yes, happy hunting Paul. Till we meet again. Tiff (TT)
