Nates, I've been putting off writing in your memorial book because it's things like this that make it real.
I cannot thank you enough for being there for me during those very difficult times, I'm not sure if you even knew how much our (often) silly conversations helped.
You were one-of-a-kind my friend, I don't think I've known a gentler, kinder, more caring young man... you're a truly beautiful soul. (I can only imagine how embarrassed all of this would be making you right now.)
I love you, nate_watkins and miss you terribly... thank you for being my buddy. xox

To Erin, Jess and Annalise--To Trevor, Mindy, Layne and Collin--To Jamie and children... my deepest sympathies. I am so very sorry for your loss and wish you much peace.

Nate will live on in my heart for as long as I live. He was an extremely important friend to me and I am thankful that I got the opportunity to spend time with him. I was blessed with the rare opportunity to hug him and tell him I loved him the last time I saw him, but I still wish I had more time. I just can't imagine the pain his family must feel compared to the grief that I feel. My best wishes and prayers to his loved ones.
Nate, you were the best and I will always love you.
