Victor INGLES Obituary
INGLES, Victor Lee
Victor Lee Ingles was born January 4, 1932 in Carleton, NE to Dee and Irene Ingles. He passed away January 25, 2012 in Carmichael, CA at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary and his son Jeffrey (Brenda) Ingles and cherished grandchildren, Chandler and Macey of Citrus Heights, CA, sister Ellen Saltzman of Hebron, NE and brother-in-law Don Erickson of Hastings, NE and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Clara Faye Erickson and Connie Benker of NE. Victor was an Air Force Korean veteran and worked in the building industry as a Sales Manager for over 50 years. He was a member of SIRS #67, Carmichael and active in St. John's Food Locker for many years prior to his illness. He loved the 'Kings.' A viewing will be held on Monday, January 30th at Lind Brothers, 4221 Manzanita Ave. in Carmichael from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am. Reception afterwards at St. John the Evangelist Church, Parish Hall at 5751 Locust Ave., Carmichael. Private interment will be held at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, Dixon, CA. A special thank you to Dr. David Patella for his compassionate care of Victor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Food Locker c/o St. John the Evangelist Church, or charity of your choice.

Mary and Jeff, I was saddened to learn recently of Vic's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I know hard it is. Vic was such a nice man. Even when he was playing detective with my Dad when I was a teenager! I miss seeing you both Mary in the neighborhood or out and about. Please keep in touch and if you need anything at all, I am only a street away.

Dear Mary, Jeff and family, I was so sorry to hear about Vic's passing and I didn't hear about it til last night, after the service, i feel just terrible i missed that too. I can't believe I didnt' notice the paper announcement on Sun, anyway, just wanted you to know Mary, that Vic, your husband and Jeff, your father was such a special person to me and to so many others, he always made everyone feel good and let you know he cared about you even during the recent years when he wasn't feeling well. He had been on my mind so often, and even yesterday before I heard, I was thinking about him and the pottery place in Lincoln where Mary your father had some influence, and all the wonderful sculptures in this City he did. He was so proud of your father Mary, and your grandfather Jeff, and of you Jeff and your promotion with DWR. I wish I would have checked in more recently to see how he and you were all doing. you are in my thoughts and prayers, God bless you all and Vic, he is free from all pain, and for this I thank God.

Mary, Jeff, and Family,
I'm so glad we got to see Buzz recently after so long. I'm also happy he got to see Ali all grown up and my granddaughter too.
I will never forgot all our Christmas's and pinochle with Hazel and Harry.
Mary, don't hesitate to call if you need anything; Jeff too. The picture is just how I remembered him as a little girl; he was so handsome.
