Florine Wise Obituary

Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend went home to be with The Lord on April 25th, 2015. Flo was born January 30th, 1927 in New Braunfels, Texas, and was the 4th child born to Walter and Lillian Annie Stahl of German decent. She graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1944 and then worked at the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. It is there she met and was courted by her soon to be husband and soulmate James D. Wise. They met on December 7th, 1947 and wed on December 11th, 1948, at the Corpus Christi Presbyterian Church in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Virginia. James always called her His Texas Beauty, as she was a beautiful woman. Often referred to as such a sweet lady, Flo had a genuinely kind heart. She was the devoted mother to two daughters. Flo was a resident of Sun City Roseville for the past 20 years and member of the Pleasant Grove Community Church. She is survived by her adoring husband James of over 66 years, two daughters Lynda & Terri, three granddaughters Kelsey, Ashley & Christine, great-grandson James, sister Jean and brother Dan who both live in Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pleasant Grove Community Church in Roseville on June 6th. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Wounded Warriors Project or a charity of your choice.

Such a lovely soul she is and I am so glad she is part of my memories of growing up in Cupertino. Even Bob said she is a graceful kind lady.
I'm so sad for you all and know there is nothing we can say to take away how you'll miss her but we hope knowing how much we all thought of her will ease your loss.
Thinking of you all,
DeeDee and Bob

Our deepest sympathy. We treasure the many years we spent with the Wises. Flo is sorely missed, but we know she's with Mom and Dad smiling down on the rest of us. Much love, Sharon and Rusty
