My "Unca" Bill-
You were truely the sweetest man I have ever met. I will see you again oneday, but until then, may you rest in peace and look in on us every now and again. You were our silly Unca Bill and I will never forget your jokes and your stories. I remember swimming in your pool with you, eating Mountain Mike's Pizza for the first time, and camping. You were my Dad's best golf partner. We love you and we will miss you everyday. Sleep well my, Unca Bill.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill back in the late 70's and early 80's. As a cop he was always the calm in the storm and I have always admired him for that quality. His dry sense of humor was always refreshing and I will always have a special place in my heart for him. May he rest in eternal peace.

Bill was a real life hero to me. He treated us kids in Hollywood Park like we were family. After growing up it was always such a treat to run into him and catch up. I am quite sad to hear he departed and will miss the opprotunity to talk with him again. Hurray for Bill and all the Silver Foxes of Sac PD. Steve

Bill was a friend and co-worker of Arnold Wiliams and that is who I met Bill through. Amazingly great times were had by Bill, the Wiiliams family and myself. Since they were such hunting buddies we would always get to see the pictures. Duck hunting, deer hunting and when they would show gutting the deer I would close my eyes but when Bill would run the video backwards, so you could watch the deer being "re-skinned", I've never laughed so hard in my life.
My condolences to your family. He was one wonderful guy.
Sincerely, Sharon Gudmundson
