Citrus Heights, California - Robert (Bob) Russell was called to the house of our Lord on Feb. 1, 2021 at the age of 92. He was born in Aurora, Illinois. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy. Loving children, Danny (Jeanne), Gary (Carolyn) and Robin. He is also has 8 wonderful grandchildren, Heather, Carrie Larson, Kurt, Kyle, Gigi Hommrich, Joanna, Jennifer and Allison and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Agnes, sisters, Madolyn, Florence and brother Dick.
He was very proud to have served in the Navy during World War II. He worked in the meat industry, mostly as a meat manager for 42 years and drove school bus for 20 years.
Services will be at Lind Bro. Mortuary, 4221 Manzanita Ave. Carmichael. Viewing from 10:00 to 1:00pm - service at 1:00 February 17, 2021. Remembrances can be made to American Cancer Society in Bob's name He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
