Jean was devoted to her career in education and served it well as an exceptional high school administrator. I admired her feisty spirit to stand up for what was right when I worked with her briefly at San Juan High School. I will always remember her generous, thoughtful gifts she sent when my son was hospitalized and my daughter was born. It was always enduring to me that she went through so many travesties in her life, but still was able to demonstrate the compassion and caring for others. She touched many people in a very positive way.

I am writing in behalf of my father Carl E. Coleman. Jean Gregoire was a dear friend of my father Carl E. Coleman. Both worked together at San Juan High School for a number of years. Throughout the years my father would talk about Jean and what a fine person both her and her husband was. She will be sadly missed by friends and family. My father will be there on Saturday to honor his friend.
