Martin Cameron Obituary

Martin Gordon Cameron was born in San Bernardino and later raised in Fair Oaks in a WWII Veterans family filled with dreams of race cars, airplanes, and storytelling. He picked up a pencil and added illustration, filmmaking, photography, airbrush art, computer 3D graphics and game design to the family portfolio. He also loved bicycling, sailing, sailboarding, and racing VW Formula Vee cars. He was a 3D artist at Lucasfilm Games including working on Star Wars and WWII simulation games as well as at Namco and other game companies. He illustrated stories for Analog magazine and more recently created steampunk illustrations for the entertainment platform the Major Arcanium Gazette as well as animation and motion graphics for indie documentaries. Martin is preceded by parents Colin and Audri (Connie), brother Bruce, brother-in-arms Jeff Canfield, Sparky, Comet, and Woody. Continuing on are Laurie, sister Leslie Oscarson and family, mother-in law Jerie Canfield and beloved son Nicholas and his fianc‚e Devon. He passed peacefully at age 61 from CHF in Petaluma, CA on March 26, 2018. A Celebration of Life has been held.
