Dear Susan and Family,
My heart and words can't tell you how sorry I am that you lost a great father and a man like Ronald. I want you to know that I am thinking about you and praying for you. I too was really sad to hear about Ronald. He will always be with you. No matter what. God Bless you.

My condolences to Maggi and the Slayton family. I worked with Ron at the Department of Education quite a long time ago. It was when he worked with Bob Oliphant and at one time had Gary Martin as Manager of the School Apportionments Office. He always was pleasant and I enjoyed his smile. I will donate to the Sacramento SPCA to which I have been a member for quite sometime. My deepest sympathies. Cheryl (Mohler) Betancourt

Dear Slayton Family,

I'm very sorry to hear about Ron's passing. I have many fond memories of Ron when we worked together at the Department of Education. I remember him with that half-smile, half-smirk on his face and always with a twinkle in his eye. I won't be able to attend his service on Saturday, but please know my thoughts will be with all of you.
