David Nicholas McIntire D.D.S.

David Nicholas McIntire passed away peacefully on March 15th, after a brief illness, with family at his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Carla, four children; Grace, James, Ariana Garcia and Aizza Garcia, sister Cathy Patterson (Larry) and Debbie McIntire, stepbrother; Beau young, mother; Doris McIntire, father; Jim McIntire (Betty) and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon. David was born in Chico, CA, he and his family then moved to Placerville in '64. He graduated El Dorado High School in '77, Yuba Community College in '79, UOP Dental School - Summa Cum Laude - in '84, finishing with UCLA in '87 as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. After many successful years practicing in Sacramento, David returned to his roots in '08, where he opened his own oral surgery office in his hometown. Davis was a fierce competitor with many athlete achievements competing in various marathons including Ironman and the Boston Marathon. In addition to his passion and love for his career and community, his favorite time was spent with his wife and children. Services will be held at Green Valley Mortuary on Friday, March 31st at 11 a.m. with a viewing at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
