Arthur Chester Spiers III

1945 - 2018

Arthur Chester Spiers III born June 4,1945 to Arthur II and Katherine Spiers in Danbury, Connecticut passed away peacefully on December 28, 2018. Art, Dad, or Grandpa will be greatly missed by his three children, Cynthia Cunningham, Arthur Spiers IV and Angela Morrison; as well as his ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren,several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He is survived by his loving sister Ruth who feels very blessed having Art as a big brother growing up in Fair Oaks. He graduated with honors from La Sierra High School in Carmichael, California. Following high school, Art enlisted in, and proudly served, 4 years in the United States Navy, establishing the building blocks for his professional career as an electrician. Art dabbled in a variety of interests and established himself as an entrepreneur owning several different businesses. He concluded his career as an Electrical Engineer at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento, California. Art enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the family "Ranch" located in Oregon House, California, as well as trips to the ocean and his property located in Nikiski, Alaska. Art was a caring, loving man that would go out of his way to make others happy and comfortable. He will always and forever be in the thoughts and prayers of those lives he touched. "I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love."
