David C. Hunt
1943 ~ 2011
David C. Hunt passed away 29 November 2011 after battling cancer. He was born 18 September 1943 in Shreveport LA to DC Hunt and Martha E Jobe. The family moved to Ogden UT where he graduated from Ogden High School in 1961. He enlisted in the Air Force in August 1962 and retired July 1986. He worked briefly for Litton Systems as an Electronics Technician. In January 1988 he became a Federal Civilian employee and worked as an Electronics Technician for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), where he remained a loyal employee until he passed. He enjoyed working/playing on his computer and reloading and target shooting at the Wasatch Shooters Range where he could be found most every Friday.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Frank Hunt, and sister Ann Larson. He leaves behind his wife of 28 years Rena Hunt; daughters Michelle King and Heather Gibson (Jason); sisters Lona Head, Fern Caldwell, Juanita Hunt, and brother Richard Hunt; and 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor his life will be held at the LDS Church on 628 So. Angel Street in West Layton on Thursday, Dec 8th from 6 PM - 8 PM. Please consider making a donation to a Cancer or Military Veteran charity of your choice in lieu of flowers. On-line condolences/guest book at www.myers-mortuary.com.
