Good bye to my Uncle Jay,
I will miss you dearly, my thoughts and condolences go to everyone in the family and Connie. We have lost another member, but you will always be in our hearts.
Like my Jeff said, you were always happy and always had a kind word to say about everyone. I was glad we got to visit on my trips to SLC and go and have "coffee" with you and Nancy.
You were so much a part of my childhood memories.
I love you Uncle Jay.

So sorry to hear this news. I remember when my brother Ron used to take me to the fairgrounds - so loved that Henry J! That's when my love of racing started. I'm sure Jay still has his foot on the throttle and is heading for the checkered flag.

Though it has been 36 yrs since i have saw Jay, I always remember his kind smile and caring eyes. I remember going to the races at the old fairgrounds, then at Bonneville Raceway. We all had so much fun. He was always there to get the other guy going ,so he could race too.Rest in Peace Dear Jay. I know they race in Heaven.

Mike and I will miss Jay very much. He was a loving friend and devoted companion to my Aunt Connie....and we had so many good times with them. We were very fortunate and got to enjoy a cruise with them where we also got to know Nancy...we went to Wendover with them and enjoyed many long visits and meals at our home with Jay and Connie. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. Cindy Foster

Jay was a wonderful person. I will miss him. As far as I was concerned he was my only Brother-in-law and he made my sister Connie very happy throughout the years they were together. He was always so protective of her and worried about her. He was very talented in his profession and he could do anything he set his heart to. I loved seeing his love and compassion for his Kitty Cat, you could tell just how much Kitty Cat loved Jay. They are together now along with Nancy too. I really enjoyed going on a cruise a few years ago with Jay, Connie and Nancy, we had so much fun and I will always treasure those memories. May the Lord be with your family throughout this time of loss. Betty Morgan (Connie's Sister in Arizona).

You are all in my prayers. I adored Jay. Although our paths did not cross often, he was so friendly and kind to me every time we met.
He will leave a void in many hearts.

As the song goes, "another one bites the dust." Jay drove stock car for much of the time I was announcing the races at the old Fairground Speedway. He always had a smile and a hand for anyone needing help...for the family, my wish is that the time comes quickly when the goodness of his life overshadows his passing...

To the Eaton Family: So sorry to hear of Jay's passing. Some of our fondest memories of Utah are racing at the Fairgrounds and also at Bonneville, traveling to Boise, Pocatello, etc. We enjoyed the time we spent with your family. Jay was an awesome man and I know he will be sorely missed.
