Angela was an amazing person, and someone I consider to have been one of my dearest friends. I will always treasure our time together as missionaries. She was the kind of person who always went out of her way to be a true friend, and I miss her dearly. I still treasure (and try to live by) a "Declaration of Righteousness" she made up for me to sign before I left the mission, and I know I am a better person for having had her in my life.
I am grateful I was able to be at the funeral in Utah. It was a beautiful experience, and I was impressed by Mauri's poise and composure in delivering the eulogy. It was beautiful and truly captured the character of Angela with all her lovable quirks.
My prayers are with you all at this time.

Mauri and all the Liljenquist and Weimer family,
I was so saddened to hear about Angela's passing. I had the opportunity to meet and get to know Angela and Mauri on a study abroad to London 11 years ago. Angela was one of those people who you are just drawn to. Absolutely gorgeous both inside and out! Her laugh was contagious and she always had a smile on her face. We had fun talking about X-files (which has always made me think of her!), touring London, eating chocolate and watching movies at The Center!

I am so sorry about the loss of Angela. I miss her so much already and so happy that I got the honor of having her as one of my best friends. She was such an amazing and loving person that loved all of you so much. I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you! I have so many great memories with her throughout the years and I will cherish all of those memories forever. I am so glad that I met her in Hawaii all of those years ago!! I miss her so much already!

Dear Liliquist Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in the passing of Angela. While my daughter Lynn worked for your Company, I lost my husband to cancer. It is a dreadful diease, hopefully soon there will be a cure.
Lynn always told me about the girls, how talented and beautiful they were and I feel as if I knew them. I know With our faith in Jesus Christ, we shall meet our loved ones again. I shall pray for all in this trying time.

My husband and I met Angela and Paul when we attended church together in London. Although we didn't know them well, our hearts are breaking for their families and friends. Angela was a beautiful, sweet, kind woman who always had a smile on her face and, certainly, in her heart. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this saddest of times.

Blaine and family; Arriving home to America from India (Humanitarian Mission) -- received your hearbreaking news about Angela.... I can only Imagine the loss you must feel. We made it to SLC, Utah and the church 10 minutes before the services. We were there to share the moment and the memories. Saw how tender the moment was for you and your family, did not wish to intrude. So this letter will have to do for now..."kan het ook op een andere dag?" Thinking of you old friend. Tough, tough time!! Nevertheless knowing you, you will somehow endure it well.

We were so very sorry to hear about Angela.My heart hurts for all of your family.I want to share this with you, about Angela and my Krissy. They would sing this song about "swim said the little fish" and laugh so much! It was a song that Krissy and I learned when we were living in Utah and then moved to SC,and I will never forget them singing " I Am A Child of God ".Looking at each other as they sang the song,and always smiling at each other.For these I will keep in my heart always.I know the LORD will give you comfort and strength as Promised. Angela and I were in the same BYU Jerusalem class ten years ago. We graduated from BYU together, and then I followed her to DC a short time later. I think our paths crossed so many times because there was so much for me to learn from Angela. Since first meeting her, it seemed to me that she had life and it’s purpose all figured out. I love Angela, and appreciate the goodness and excellence she exemplified. May your family feel comfort and love at this time.

Angela is an amazing person. As my mission trainer, she always inspired me with her high standards and total obedience! As a new missionary, I assumed all missionaries conducted themselves like Sister Liljenquist, but I soon found out that she was exemplary in all areas of life! She was also tons of fun! We enjoyed laughing...and occasionally singing out of tune together in the car. Most of all, we enjoyed the spirit as we taught the gospel together. I admired her love for life, and the love she had for the people she served. I'm sure it was that...and her good looks that made her such a beloved sister in the mission! Angela is such a special person to me, and I know that she is still blessing countless lives on the other side.

Your grief may ebb and flow. It has been said that each of us has this well deep inside of us that can be filled to the brim with grief. Every time we cry, we empty out some of the well. But the well fills again. The level of sorrow in your well may lessen as time passes, but it will never run dry. There will always be birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and those days when the well seems to fill to its brim again. Allow yourself time to remember and mourn. It is part of your healing. Grief is a continuing journey.

I was so shocked today when I heard of Angela's passing. Tears started flowing as I remembered babysitting when it was just Mauri and Angela, and then our many conversations during YW. She was and is a very special young lady.

I remember Angela as a most beautiful, sparkling, vivacious, and outgoing young woman. Her presence seemed to bring light, love, and beauty to her surroundings and affect all those around her. That is how I will always remember Angela. The sadness in the passing of someone so young is that her countenance will no longer be felt; but it will live on in the memories of those who have known and loved her. We only knew Angela during the three short years of her engagement and marriage to Paul, yet it seems as though we've known her much longer. With some people you meet, there seems to be a kindred spirit. Such was the case with sweet, loving Angela. We enjoyed Paul & Angela's visits to our home, we traveled with them occasionally, visited them in London, and through Birch & Glenda Weimer, shared their adventures, their great happiness and incredible sorrow. I wanted to share some of my memories of Angela I had growing up with her. When Kristen and I wanted to hang out with Angela we would do fun things. I remember one time she made a routine on the swing set for us to music. She would also polish nails with us and take us to youth on Wednesday nights in her celica. I had so much respect for Angela and I am so thankful I was able to know and learn from her. I always looked up to her in YW's and wanted to be like her.

I am so sorry for your loss! Angela was an extraordinary young woman. She touched many lives and was loved by many people. I remember happy times with her as a young girl (carpools, birthday parties...I got my first bee sting at one of the Liljenquist girls b'day parties, happy times spent with Blair, etc.). She fought a long, hard battle with cancer and I hope that others may learn from her example. I have a history of melanoma (Stage I) as well. Angela did more in her brief life than most people do in their entire lifetime. I have enjoyed seeing her many travel pictures on Facebook. She is now a beautiful angel and is at peace. Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!
