In loving memory of Waltrout Anna Matern Allred. She passed away Friday, February 5th, 2016 after an extended period of decline at her home in Bluffdale, Utah surrounded by family.
Anna was the youngest of 5 children and while still a child sailed to America with some of her family to escape the ordeal of the war in Germany. Learning to speak English was only one of the challenges she overcame to become the mentor, teacher, and healer she was to family and friends from all walks of life. She will be remember as a loving mother, grandmother to children that came through her and to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, son, and several grandchildren. She is survived by her children Annie Stephens, Floren LeBaron, Clark Allred, Aaron Allred, Darvey Christiansen, and Jo Ann Washenko. Also survived 63 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial Services: Viewing 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 9th, Viewing 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday February 10th, Funeral 11:00 a.m. Wednesday February 10. All services held at 1224 West 16580 South, Bluffdale, Utah 84056, RCA Building. Online condolences: www.larkincares.com
