I was saddened by the loss of Hank. One of my most treasured posessions is the painting he did for me of my horse, Dolly years ago. Whenever I look at that painting, I remember him and being able to visit in his home with Genevieve. I was her visiting teacher for a number of years and had to smile at the way Hank always took such good care of her. I need to share something that has stuck with me for a few years as well. One winter day I was coming down the street and there was Henry and Ross Syphus, shoveling each others walks. Neither one should have been doing that but it showed me a great act of kindness and service watching those two men serve each other. He will be missed! With Love and Appreciation, Pam Rex

Dear Groen family,

Sorry to read about Henry's passing. I know how close of a family you are, so this must sting your hearts.

In the few years that I worked for Groen Brothers Aviation, I admired how your family works together in trying to accomplishing your dreams. It takes strong people with good parents to teach and instill everlasting qualities in you. I'm sure your father was that type of man.

May you be comforted by the spirit as you pay your last respects to your father. Know that many of us are thinking of you as you mourn his passing.

I hope the viewing and funeral go well and you draw strength from his good life. You now must carry on with only your memories of him to guide you.

When we focus on Christ and his teachings, we are comforted by the spirit as we try to live worthy to extend our family to eternity.

May God bless you all and comfort you at this milestone of separation. It's only a matter of time until you will meet him again.

Sincerely,

DeLene Mortensen

Dear Aunt Gen and family,
Prayers for strength and comfort to all of you. I have great memories of Uncle Hank and his beautiful paintings. I always loved it when you came to Chester. Also, the times I spent in your home. Love to you all. DeLene Mortensen
