Michael Davis Obituary
Michael Bettfreund Davis, age 72, of Spring Hill, TN passed away October 31, 2019. He was born on March 2, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Louis Dean & Jacqueline Bettfreund Davis. Michael retired after 36 years as the branch manager of the Salt Lake City location of Master Halco in 2006, moved to Tennessee to reunite with his children. He loved to spend time with family, especially outdoors at the lake. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Gail Elaine Swinney Davis for 54 years. Michael is survived by wife, Gail, daughter Jamie Lynn (Kirk) Thompson, son Michael Dean (Tori) Davis & grandchildren Braden & Keaton Thompson, and Macie Davis- that were the pride of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister (Carolyn Davis Jensen) & infant daughter Laury Leigh Davis. A private memorial service to be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Mike my friend, I'm so sorry you had to leave us so soon. You will be missed.
WE worked together for 20 years, good friends for 33 years.
We had some good times together. Thanks Bud for all the memories!!

Mike, I haven't seen you in many years, but I think of you and Gail often. I am saddened to learn of your passing. You had a great sense of humor and were fun to be around. My thoughts are with Gail and your family. Have a safe journey.

My condolences to Mike's family and especially Gail. I lived just down the block from Mike and we were tight friends at Clayton Jr. High and remained friends in high school, Mike to East and me to Highland. We shared some great times. We also shared a connection with Gail. She lived a few houses from me on Roosevelt Ave. during elementary school. We shared a "crush" and I was brokenhearted when she and her family moved away. What was sad to me was good fortune for Mike as he was lucky to meet Gail at East and later marry her. I kidded him all the time that he had stolen my girlfriend and I wanted her back. Gail, you are in my heart and I hope you find happiness in life in a time of sorrow. Your friend, Alan.
