Charles (Charlie) Butts was one of the greatest lawyers and individuals I have known in my 44 years as a Texas Lawyer.

He was a superb example of all that a lawyer should be, and someone that personified Good Character.

I have always looked up to him as a model to follow and emulate.

He served the Texas Bar with dignity and distinction throughout his long career. I am honored to have known him since 1969.
