Kathleen Boughton Obituary
Kathleen Annie Boughton, our beloved sister and aunt, entered rest on November 6, 2013 at the age of 71. She was born in New Braunfels, Texas on June 4, 1942 to George and Hedwig Friesenhahn. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George and Norbert Friesenhahn; sister, Virginia Friesenhahn. She is survived by her brother, Norvin Friesenhahn and wife Mary; sisters, Glayds Appelt and husband Ferdy, Florence "Flo" Jasiak and husband Leonard; sister-in-law, Elenor Friesenhahn; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Honey Creek), 25781 Hwy 46 West, Spring Branch, TX. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Honey Creek Cemetery. Please visit www.funerariadelangelroyakers.com for online tributes.

Kathy and I met at Honey Creek at a very early age. Remained friends throughout the years. Were both in the first graduating class of Canyon High School, Class of '60! I was so sad to hear of the passing of Kathleen but am happy for her to be without pain in Heaven. Will never forget all the happy times we shared as neighbors and childhood friends. My sympathy to her family.

Kathy was a dear friend, who attended the Annual Archdiocesan Christmas
Gala for Elderly & Disabled held at the Oblate Ministry Center seven years ago. On that day she met the Victorious Missionaries who were Special & Honored Guests. She continued attending monthly VM meetings until her illness kept her bed ridden. Her Faith & Hope were inspirational, and in that spirit she went on to the Glory of Heaven.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Kathy. She was always so happy & full of joy when ever you saw her. I used to visit with her at Alamo Iron Works when I would go to service the elevator. I am sorry that I am going to miss her funeral for I have a duck hunt scheduled for this weekend.
