Poncho....the Black Camel has taken you across the desert to that celestial lodge not made by human hands, there to be with the Great Architect for eternity. All the admiration people had for you was proven by the numerous friends and family members that attended your viewing and church service.

Speeches were given about your life that was well-lived, how you touched so many people, but the word that stood out the most was your "generosity". You were generous in the love you gave, generous in the time you spent with friends and loved ones, and generous monetarily.

Now, all the services are complete and we are left with beautiful memories of a man who was the best of humanity all wrapped into one person.

I thank God He put you in my life. You taught me so much, especially about kindness and patience. I'll miss all the times we "talked story", doing hooks, and winning your money in poker when you and Mary would "live" with us on weekends. I'll also miss our wonderful road trips together. We had the best of times.

Thank you for your dedication as a "brother" in the Shrine. You were the "Rock of Gilbraltar' and glue that held the Honor Guard together. You'll forever have a seat at our meetings and your presence will always be recognized.

I'll look forward to seeing you again when I make that "formation up in the sky" . RIP dear friend.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Always a total gentleman. Met him in the hall ways of the Bexar County Courthouse 20 years ago. Rest in peace.

Familia Aranda.
