It is with great sadness to learn of Kay's passing. My father and I certainly enjoyed our relationship with her.

Kay was an integral part of the Southern Texas Archaeological Association in San Antonio for many years. She and her late
husband were stalwarts of the group, and took on many tasks at meetings...and beyond. I always considered her a dear friend, and remember her with great fondness.

Miss Kay was a joy to know. She never gave up and always said she was great when asked how she was feeling. Even when she qualified for a Handicap tag for her car, she refused it and kept walking from the back of the parking lot. She loved her adopted son and often spoke of him and the children. She is missed by all who knew her.
