I am saddened to hear that Dr Lozano is no longer with us. She had been on my mind for a few weeks. I knew Dr. Lozano for many years. We first met many years ago at the Hondo Hospital. She was an inspiration to so many and had so much love in her heart. She was truly an amazing women. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

What do you say at a time like this, words are hard to come by. Anna was part of our family for a short time. I hope we had become great friends. Ej (Anna used to call him Teddy), Laura, Amy, Edward and I send the family our prayers. It has been a very long time since we have seen or spoke to Anna and the family, would think about the family at times and wonder how things were going. I used to see Ben at the football games at SWISD when he taught there, and would catch up with the family. I am so sorry for your loss, Anna was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed.
