I first met Carl on a gig in 1964! We go way back. I was able to pay my respects and hold his hand at his home shortly before he passed. We shared lots of meals, laughs and music. These are memories to treasure always.
Ciao, Carl

Uncle Carl,
Everytime I play a game of chess and start with the Sicilian opening, I'll think of you.
And smile.

I'll always remember Carl as a kind, humble and soft-spoken gentleman who was one of the finest musicians I had the pleasure of performing with for so many wonderful years in the Coastal Communities Concert Band. I'm sure he's jamming with all the greatest players up in heaven. Rest in peace my friend and thanks for sharing your gift with so many!
