Mark George Mittskus

MITTSKUS, MARK GEORGE Sept. 6, 1964 to Sept. 22, 2003 A bright light was extinguished with the passing of Mark George Mittskus after a courageous battle with a long illness. Mark enjoyed his family and friends, music, sports, especially golf, and a lot of really good jokes. The Lord brought Mark home to his heavenly family on September 22, 2003. He will be met at Heaven ' s gates by his Savior and his loving mother, Olympia Mittskus. Mark is survived by his wife, Shelley, and his beloved eight-year old daughter, Alexis, his father Vyto Mittskus, by three brothers, Chris, John and Anthony and by his sister Monica Mulcahey. A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 424 Via De La Valle, Solana Beach, CA 92075. Following the service, a reception will be held in order to celebrate Mark ' s life.
