Hey Brother sorry I missed your funeral I had been far away on a road trip when I first learned about your tragic accident. We may have become disconnected over the past several years but you were never forgotten. You were a huge part of my life growing up in Jamul. Hiking, camping, hanging out late nights with Mike W, Kevin B, Philip E, Terry and yes we thought we were rock stars. Nobody played the drums like you except youre hero Neil Peart of Rush. My heart is still saddened even after 5 years but I know you are in our Lord n Savior Jesus Christ arms right now whom we talked about quite frequently into the wee hours. I can vision you playing the drums in the Lords band, what an awesome site. Till we meet again my good friend

To the family of Michael, I remember Mike being a little boy running around the house and bugging Laura and I. He was a typical brother, cute and goofy. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I send prayers to his family for the coming days.... Laura and Lisa, so sorry for your loss, ......
I like to think that the stars shining brightly at night are our loved ones who are telling us that they are alright... Shine bright Mike......

Many a memory of Mike in high school . I am sorry to hear of his death and my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will be missed but will be putting on quite a show for the man upstairs I am sure :) God Bless..

i'm reading this and seeing your picture, and am having a hard time believing it. you always stopped by over the years and always bragged about your son, you were so proud of him and i know he is the one thing in life you loved the most. i am so sorry for him to be without you. but i know you will always be there.

My dear little brother...Michael could make me glad, mad, sad and laugh out loud all in a matter of minutes.
Every life has a beginning and an end...Mike's end came too soon for me, we didn't have enough time. But I turn to God for the strength to accept my feelings and will make the most of my love for those in my life today. I have so many wonderful memories of Mike that will keep him alive in my heart forever. When someone we love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure... treasure the memory.

Laura,Moriah, Lisa, Adam, Claude and Jarie, I did not know Michael well, but I remember him and Adam from family gatherings such as Moriah's graduation and Laura and Eric's wedding. I remember how happy Eric was that Michael let him play his harmonica with Michael's band. Maybe they are playing together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you
