Richard Tovar

1966 - 2013

Tovar, Richard EL CAJON-- Richard Tovar, 47, went to be with God on November 28, 2013, with his family by his side, peacefully at home. Richard was born July 16, 1966, in Houston, TX to Mary and Roy Tovar. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1984. In 1986 he moved to El Cajon, CA, where he met and married Tammy Campbell. He spent most of his working career in the medical field. His interests included friends, poker, sports and spending time with his family. He was an animated story teller and comedian. His charm and smile enlightened any given moment. Richard is survived by his wife, Tammy and their three daughters, Amanda, Ashleigh and Blythe; son-in-law Eduardo; one granddaughter, Kayleigh; his mother, Mary; brother, Roy and his spouse Cathy, nephews, Anthony and Justin. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to please donate to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org), in Richard"s name. Richard was laid to rest at Singing Hills Memorial Park
