INEZ FRANCE REEDY

REEDY, INEZ FRANCE January 15, 1934 to January 15, 2013 Inez France Reedy passed on her journey to Heaven on January 15, 2013. She fell asleep peacefully in the morning in San Diego, California with her two sons Michael and Ralph at her bedside holding her hands. Inez was born to Ralph Waldo Emerson and Marion Smith France in Utica, New York. Her late husband, Albert John Reedy PhD, preceded her in death in October of 2000. Inez earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Radio-Television with the distinction of Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Syracuse in Upstate New York. Her second Bachelors degree was in Social Work. She worked the next seven years at WROC-TV in Rochester, N.Y.,and then The Rochester Civic Music Association holding the title of Publicity Director. She met many famous celebrities such as Carroll Channing, Errol Gardner and Harry Belafonte. They became grandparents for the first time when John Robert Reedy was born. Albert and Inez retired to San Diego, California. They spent quality time with Ralph, Mike, their daughters-in-law, Donna and Jill and now two new grandchildren of Michaels; Olivia and Jay. May God be with her and comfort her always. "My presence will go with you and I will give you Rest" - EXODUS 33:14. Memorial service is at Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Poway, California on Saturday, February 2nd at 2:30 pm. It was her wishes that any donations be made in her name to either Interfaith Community Services or The Southern Poverty Law Center.
