Jean Neas

Jean Neas, a truly fun-loving, vivacious woman, the wife of Al Neas, formerly of Billings, Mont., and, since 2006, a resident of Paso Robles, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, after a short illness.  Jean was a successful and accomplished artist and an active member and a director of the Central Coast Water Color Society.  She was an active member of the Paso Robles Art Association and participated in Open Studios for over 10 years.  Her art is enjoyed in the homes of many buyers throughout San Luis Obispo County as well as in the homes of her many friends and admirers. Jean is survived by her husband, Al Neas; son, Christopher Hull (Erin) and their children Lucas and Madelyn of Salt Lake, Utah; daughter, Andrea and her daughter, Soleil Bruner Hull of San Diego; twin brother, John Weaver (Donna) and their sons Matt (Courtney) and Tim (Natalie).  Jean's celebration of life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Castoro Cellars, 1315 N. Bethel Road in Templeton.  Cremation has taken place and a private family interment of the ashes will take place prior to the celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Art Smart Program, which supports art education in the Paso Robles schools for kindergarten through grade five.
