Without a doubt, George was one of the most talented people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I was honored to be associated with him through the Pipe Band community as he was a Piper in my Pipe Band also. He will be greatly missed by all.

I miss George. We always made fun happen since 1964...especially on occassions when a glass of good Scotch was enjoyed...and when George painted me we did have some Scotch. Good friends never leave..Thank God for memory. Travel well old friend I am not far behind you.

Mary Cade, your Dad's great work and legacy will live on and on. He also fathered you, a wonderful lady, and for that we are also very thankful. God bless you and your family.

I'm glad to say I got the pleasure to meet George. He was a great man. George, Ann and my grandparents we're close friends. Even my mother's Godfather. I'll always remember 'Georgie porgie pudding pie kissed the girls and made them cry.' The family is in my prayers.

I am greatly saddened to learn of George's passing. There never was a finer man as he, and I shall count amongst the providences of life that I was able to share a small part of his. He taught me some of the most important lessons in life that are with me to this very day: kindness, compassion, patience, friendship, and the value of a good Scotch. I will always remember with fondness the days I spent chatting with him, visiting his studio, and hauling leaves in old Betsy. He is missed.
