A friend for forty years, since we met in Phyl Benia's Art Class, Albuquerque High School. Max opened the minds of everyone he came in contact with. He introduced me to The Talking Heads among other things... I just purchased one of Max's paintings last spring and will always think of him when I look at it. We'll miss you Max!

Maxie.... you'd better be in Valhalla with Thor, David Bowie, Proust and Bela Lugosi. It's the only way I will ever forgive you for leaving us too soon. Love you forever and see you on the other side. You have a piece of my heart, Dolly.
