I did not know George but about five years and glad that I just got to know him at all .Super , great man . My wife and I came out too N.M. from Tennessee to hunt so I did not get to spend a lot of time with him but if I would have lived out there or just spent more there , I would have been his shadow . Just one of those men that I gravitate too . A good Christian man full of knowledge and goodness . I look forward to seeing him again .

I considered George one of my best friends and I will always remember the times we hunted together or just hung out. I used to tell him that he had more talent in his little finger than I have in my entire body. He is missed greatly by many that he touched during his life but his legacy lives on.

I miss my dad more than you all can imagine, he was a mentor, best friend and such a dedicated dad. He was always there for me and the first person I always told all my secrets to. He taught me taught me to make jewelry, to love the natural world and to always pursue learning. He was good at everything he did because he spent time learning and reading and practicing. Dad, I'll miss you for the rest of my life-but thank you for being my dad!! You let me know what it means to be free and showed me how to leave a legacy of love.

George was a multitalented and multifaceted man. He was good at so many things, most of all making friends. Wish I could have one more afternoon Pickin and Singing with him by the Pecos. Hope to see you someday in the Cowboys High Land

George, thou its been a long time, I've never forgotten the fun I had with you. Up and down the Pecos Canyon with cans of Coors, the jewelry you made me, hunting by horseback, your music, trip to Elephant Butte lake. I enjoyed every minute we hung out. I am sad we never got you up to Washington St.
Thanks for your friendship George. So glad I knew you. RIP friend.

George.....
Almost 50 years of fun, guitars, parties, and The Mountains and The Pines, on horseback and song, campfires and stories, I was fortunate beyond measure, to ride along with you.
