Charles Sederholm Obituary
August 11, 1937 - February 5, 2023
Orcutt - Charles Sederholm passed away on February 5th, 2023 at the age of 85.
Born in Great Falls, Montana, Charles was raised in a small town near the Canadian border called Sunburst. In his youth, he was an Eagle Scout, high school valedictorian, an athlete and an outdoor enthusiast.
Charles earned his bachelor's degree from Concordia College in Minnesota, and later a master's degree at the University of Georgia.
He loved golf, fly fishing, Georgia football, spending time with family and his dogs.
Charles's professional career began as a high school teacher in North Dakota. He later moved to California upon being drafted by the United States Army. Charles spent a brief period teaching in southern California before finding his permanent home in Orcutt, where he spent nearly 30 years teaching math at Righetti.
Once retired, Charles and his wife Linda traveled the world. One of his favorite memories was playing the Old Course at St. Andrews on a golf vacation to Scotland and Ireland.
Charles is now reunited in heaven with his daughter Karen. He is survived by his wife Linda, sisters Joan and Laurie, son Mike and his wife Theresa, grandsons Mason and Ryan, extended family members and friends.
The family is planning to hold a celebration of Charles' life at a date to be determined.
