Harold Jones Obituary

Harold Jones, a lifelong resident of Santa Maria, California, passed away December 16, in St. Helena, Ca. He was 62 years old. Raised in Santa Maria, Harold grew up with a deep curiosity for how things worked. As a young boy, he found joy in building models, a hobby that sparked a lifelong appreciation for creativity and craftsmanship.
Harold was well known as a person who loved to modify and repair bicycles. Creating unique styles in designs. Whether fixing a neighbor's bike or tinkering with one of his own, he approached every project with patience, skill, and his signature warm smile. His gentle spirit and willingness to help others made him a friend to many.
In recent years, Harold made his home in Clearlake, California, where he enjoyed a quieter pace of life while staying connected to the people and passions that meant the most to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Betty Jones, and his brother, Dean James.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Pricilla Smith of Mammoth Lakes, CA; his sister, Sandra Jones of Hemet, CA; his brothers, Howard Jones of Hemet, CA, Richard Jones of Santa Maria, CA, and Thomas Forsythe of Clarksville, TN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family.
A small celebration of life will be held on January 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Winepress Church, 896 Cambria Avenue, Santa Maria, California 93455.
Harold will be remembered for his kindness, his steady hands, and the joy he brought to those around him.
