Barbara A. Gresham, age 87, of Sedan, Kansas (formerly of Santa Maria) passed away Monday, June 13, 2011.
Barbara was born May 26, 1924, in Santa Maria, California to Ralph Henry and Mildred Elizabeth (Fugler) Bardin. She was raised in Santa Maria, California where she received her high school education before earning her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles.
In 1950 she married Harold Lloyd Gresham in San Francisco, California. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Barbara was an avid gardener and also loved to paint using water colors. She shared her love of art and design with her many friends in Santa Maria. She was devoted to the history and heritage of Santa Maria and always enjoyed the local events and celebrations.
Barbara is survived by one son Gary Gresham of Buellton; and three daughters Gail Gresham of Sacramento, Annie Gresham of Oakland, and Elizabeth Gresham of Sedan, Kansas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Santa Maria Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home and Crematory. Sympathy notes and words of support may be expressed at www.magnermaloney.com.
