Luella Shell Obituary
1915 - 2022
Luella Margaret Shell, 107 years old, formerly of Santa Maria, passed away at home in Arroyo Grande on April 6, 2022. She was born at home January 28, 1915 in Belleville, Ontario Canada. Her family moved to Lompoc, California in 1921 because her dad became employed as a mechanic at Ford. She was raised in Lompoc and graduated from Lompoc High School in 1933.

She will be missed greatly from the hearts of her family, friends, and community. As she danced her final dance on earth, she hung up her dancing shoes and traded up for a greater life in eternity.
Those that she loved and missed that went before her: Husband- Preston Shell, Parents-Samuel and Irene Ray, Siblings-Marjorie, Howard, Don, and Richard Ray. Son and Daughter in law David and Diane Shell.
She is survived by her Son-Gordon Shell. Grandchildren-Conly Shell, Jeni Shell, Aaron (Marsha)Shell, and Heather (Scott)Campbell.
Great-Grandchildren-Michael, Chris, Sonia, and Paul Massoud, Jeremy and Luke Campbell, Bella Shell, and Jillian Campbell.
Nieces-Jill (Waldo)Grossi, Donna (Bill)Bonham, and Laura (Tim)Matthews. Nephews-Don Ray Jr., and Randy (Sam)Ray.
Graveside Service for family and friends will be Saturday April 23, 2022 at 10am in the original part of the Santa Maria Cemetery.
