I did not know.... Every time I drive passed Angies Diner in the Morning I wonder if he is in there eating breakfast on his way to work. I enjoyed his FB post about family. We went to school together for 12 years.

Joe was a great friend from the late 90s which started as a business relationship that developed int a great friendship. In the past 15 years, I came through Savannah and had great times with our mutual friends David and Harry. Joe most always had a smile and good stories, memories and good times. I never had the pleasure of meeting his kids, but I did stay with his parents for a weekend. I will miss Joe. So will Savannah. I will pray for those who so suddenly lost him.

Oldest and dearest friend. But I know Im not alone. Joe had a way of making all his friends feel that way with a big smile, warm hug and a kind word. When life gets in the way we always think theres time to reconnect. Dont wait. Love you brother

Joe loved fiercely. He loved music. His love of music was diverse - he would Play That Funky Music and slow breeze Gran Torino. He loved the beach, sitting there for hours. He loved the sunset. Not so much the sunrise. He loved adventure: hunting, boating, fishing, SCUBA, spear fishing, camping. Not so much primitive camping. He loved to cook and eat and entertain his friends and family. Joe loved his friends. He would do anything for his friends and family. Joe loved his Mama and Daddy. He missed his Mama. Joe loved Trey and Michael and Rebekah and Suzi and their families. Joe is with his Mama and brother Greg now. But his love remains with us. Lucky are we to have been loved so fiercely by Joe.
