Hudak,
You are and have been a devoted and loyal son. I hope your grief is less knowing that you did all you could for your father. Much love to you. Marilyn

I was deeply saddened to learn of your loss. Mr. Harry was indeed a part of my "growing up". My Dad, Carl, and Harry were friends as long as I can remember. I will miss him.

Harry was a true friend that just happened to be my first cousin. His father and my mother were brother and sister. Even though I lived in Florida, I spent many childhood summers on the farm. Uncle Perkins, Aunt Fannie and Harry lived just down the road from GrandMa Hendricks. There was hard work to be done, but always lots of fun along with it. Harry and Uncle Foy took me fishing at Gator Lake. What an experience. Movies in Collins on Saturday night, and on occasion, homemade icecream on Sunday afternoon. Even though there were long periods of time that I did not see or talk to Harry, I felt we were close. I will miss him. Harry was my friend.

Doy, You were so faithful in watching over your father in his time of need and now he is able to watch over you. May you draw near to your heavenly father and take comfort in him.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting "Harry Joe", I know how central he was in the lives of his family and friends through my conversations with Doy. My impression of Harry is that he was an authentic man. Wise, caring, and honest. I can only guess at how devastating it must feel to lose him. I hope in time loving memories of Harry will lessen the sorrow of those he left behind.

Cousin Harry was a special person. I was fortunate to have known Harry when he was a young man as well as when he was a father and a grandfather. When Harry went off to serve his country in the U. S. Army he let me use his sweet sixteen browning automatic shot gun. I especially cherish the memories as a young boy hunting quail and working in the tobacco fields with Harry Walter "Joe" Hendrix.

Such a shock to hear about Harry. I have fond memories of him helping us in the school quartet and driving the bus on field trips. Always enjoyed his company. Much sympathy to your whole family from ours.

Harry Jo was always a special person to our family. It was always such a joy to hear him and the other members of the Hymnsman. My Father,(Estus) always thought very highly of Harry Jo. He will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.

If Uncle Harry had been a deer he would have been a 12 point buck. His nephews are gonna miss him.

I remember Harry Joe fondly as a member of the Hymnsmen Quartet. They sang some of the best Southern Gospel music that I have ever heard. I share with the family the sorrow that they feel during the lost of this loved one, more so, since I just lost my brother, Martin Wildes.
