Mentor, advocate, physician, husband, son, father, brother, congregation member, all things Ralph did with an absolute sense of committment and resolve. To all who suffer from this loss, while celebrating their memories, I send my heartfelt best wishes. Ralph's unconditional support and encouragement to those around him will always provide a guiding light to those of us who had the privilege to know him and work with him. Ralph, we will continue to "do the dance", respect the blind man as he "views" the elephant, and never settle for anything less than than you established in us.

The world was a better place because of Dr. Maurer. I only met Dr. Maurer a few times through our work with people with autism but his legacy will remain forever!

Dr. Maurer was an advocate and warrior working for the rights and improvement of care for people and families effected by autism.

My regards to Dr. Maurer's family and friends. Your pain and sorrow must be immense.

Dr. Maurer brought hope, peace and inspiration to so many families that didn't think they would be able to survive before he entered their lives. I know his work will be carried on by those who knew and loved him!
