I just learned of Harry's passing as I searched the web to see if he was still with us.We were good friends in high school in Marblehead. I remember his Brazilian Mom and how moved she was when she joined the Episcapel church and her wonderful watercolor paintings. I still have her painting of a little boy looking out at the ocean and have always loved it and felt it had to be Harry. I remember his sister Wendy, too. I remember he fashioned a silver cross with flowers on it at his his Dad's dental office. Years later, after his rugged accident he visited me in PA and came and played the banjo to the delight of the kindergarten class where I was music teacher. I still have a poem he wrote in high school about wanting to play the organ and how if you wanted to play the organ and settled for an accordion, you would die a poor man. (I played both) :) As Tennyson wrote, "We are part of all we have met" and he was well met. Beth Kingsley Hawkins, formerly Chicki Hutchinson, now in Sedona, AZ

Harry started as a customer of mine a decade or so ago but by the second time I came to help him with his computer he had become a good friend and quickly one of my favorite people, among a small handful. Until he moved to Salem I used to vist him every few weeks. I'll never forget Harry's stories - for anyone who knew him well, you may know something about half-screwed in light bulbs, tossing a parking meter off the Piscataqua River bridge but thinking better of it and many other unforgettable stories. Harry was wonderfully indignant about all the things people SHOULD be indignant about - Harry was incredibly clever, talented and easy to befriend. I often said if more people were like Harry the world would be a far better place. I only found out today (in July) that Harry passed away. I will never forget you Harry - you were the best! Carry on.

I was a classmate of Harry's from the 6th grade to graduation. Have not seen him in many years, but I remember his smile and always being a nice young man.

Harry was my best friend. We worked and played together. He worked with me in The Red Garter, Your Fathers Mustache and my own band. When I moved to Marblehead he taught me how to sail. We sailed quite often together. He had integrity and was an honest man. After his horrendous accident he joined me at Smokey Joe's in Kenmore Square in Boston. He couldn't remember the names of tunes so I hummed them to him and he remembered the tune immediately. At one point in time he toured Canada with me when we worked at The Red Garter. He was a wonderful guy and I miss him greatly.

Harry was my next door neighbor on Maplewood DR. back in the day. What a great guy any time I had to talk to him? A patient and tolerant man.

Harry worked for us at The Rusty Hammer when we first opened. He was AKA "Vodka Harry" back then. Worked many years and was one of our favorite and dedicated employees. Remember seeing him at Todd Farm years after he retired from The Hammer. RIP my friend Rusty Hammer
