Elaine Florence Vick

September 19, 1936-December 28, 2018

Elaine was born on September 19, 1936 to Edwin and Ruth Braley in Buffalo, New York. Married teen sweetheart Frank. Moved to Seattle in 1956. Elaine worked at Swedish Hospital. She also managed Dr. Sonai's office until 1982. Survived by son David, grandchildren Ryan and Allison, great granddaughter Alice and former daughter in law, Connie, and husband Frank. Elaine loved being part of her grandchildren's lives, taking trips to Disneyland and Europe. She moved to Maui in 1982, then to Arizona in 1991. There she taught aqua aerobics, and she also played on a ladies golf team. She moved to Mill Creek in 1992. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995, Elaine fought a brave battle until her passing.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to any breast cancer organization. A private family remembrance will be held.

My Mom Carol has wanted to visit Elaine for several years now. Both she and Janet have missed Elaine's Annual Christmas cards and were worried about her. We are just learning of her passing. So sorry to hear. That awful cancer seems to be in our genes. Sending our condolences.
