Robert Lloyd Obituary
Robert H. Lloyd, age 64, of Kailua, HI, passed away unexpectedly at Princess Margaret Hospital in Hong Kong on July 6, 2013. Born December 15, 1948 in Aberdeen, Washington. He graduated from Auburn Academy and Walla Walla University. Pastor Rob served the Seventh-day Adventist Church for 42 years, most recently as Executive Secretary and Ministerial Director of the Hawaii Conference of SDA and as Pastor of the Kailua SDA Church since 1992. In his global ministry through ShareHim, he traveled on mission trips the past 12 years to Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, India, Irian Jaya, Kenya, Mexico, Namibia, Rwanda, Uganda and Venezuela. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Harder Lloyd; sons, Jeremy (Heather) and Micah (Dina); daughters, Giana, Oksana and Shavana; brother, Roger; 5 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 6, 5:30 p.m., at Central Union Church (1660 S. Beretania St., Honolulu) with visitation and dinner to follow in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be donated at www.sharehim.org.
