For our dear friend, Tom, and kids. We we so saddened to hear of Shelley's passing. After all she had endured such a struggle. We loved having dinner with Tom and Shelley, she was fun, delightful and a beautiful person. So young and gone way too soon. Love from Gary and Joan

So saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of Shelley, a good friend and co-worker during our days together at Reachlocal.
I was honored to have known and worked with her. Moreover to call her a friend.
God Bless and Keep her and her family.

College weekend getaway

Shelley was a friend to me in high school, college and young married women starting our families. She had an infectious laugh and was very self assured. I remember our trip to Canada in my 1967 station wagon without a plan or place to sleep that night. Laughing hysterically about something that I said about what I was looking for in a husband, about our time as WSU and life in general. We lost touch as you do when life is keeping you busy though I had just reconnected with Shelley at the end of last year. We talked for about 3 hours on the phone catching up. She talked mostly about her kids, their accomplishments and how proud she was of ALL her children. This clearly was the most important thing to Shelley. She was positive about her health issues and felt that she was turning a corner, looking forward to the next chapter of her life. I am so thankful that I was able to talk with her and tell her how much she meant to me and she reciprocated. I send my sincerest condolences to her family and children.

Shelley was a good friend to me in high school, college and as we married and become young mothers. She was a dedicated and loyal friend and I will always remember her laughter and her ability to tell and retell stories and adventures. I spoke to Shelley right before Christmas and we talked for 3 hours catching up. She gushed about her kids (as always!) and how wonderful they were and proud she was of their accomplishments and more importantly the people they had become. We laughed about our teenage escapades - heading to Canada in my 1967 station wagon with no plan on where to sleep, frat parties at WSU and silly things between friends catching up. I will miss Shelley but find comfort in knowing that I got a chance to talk to her recently and tell her how much she meant to me as a friend. My sincerest condolences to all her family and friends that are dealing with this loss.
