Troy Roger CROSHAW Age 46, of Redmond, WA, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 16, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. His devoted family was at his side. He was born June 6, 1961, in Seattle, WA. Troy was an outstanding son, husband, brother, father, grocer, businessman, coach, neighbor, golf partner, and friend, for 46 fun-filled years. Growing up, Troy played and loved all sports, and continued by coaching his own boys along with many others for the Redmond Parks Department, Redmond West Little League Baseball, and the Redmond Select Basketball program. Troy grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Interlake High School Class of 1979. He served a two year mission for his church in Viña del Mar, Chile. He married Lori Lynn McLeod in 1983 in the Seattle Washington LDS Temple. Troy earned a B.S. degree in 1986 from Brigham Young University in Information Management. After finishing school, he joined the family supermarket business, working together with his Father and later his brother Tyler in Bert’s Red Apple Market in Seattle, and added a second store, Bridle Trails Red Apple Market, in Kirkland in 1997. He became well-known in the food industry, serving on different committees at Associated Grocers and Northwest Grocers. Troy was an avid golfer, spending as much time as possible on the links around the country. He was able to golf St. Andrews in Scotland, and fulfilled some life long dreams over the years by golfing Pebble Beach with his beloved wife Lori and Oakland Hills, Sawgrass, Muirfield, and Inverness with his many golf buddies. He obtained every golfer’s dream by sinking a "hole in one" on June 3, 1994 at the Snohomish Golf Course on the 148 yard par 3, 11th hole. His warm, kind-hearted, and friendly nature helped him develop many lifelong friendships. He was genuinely interested in everyone he met and treated each person with love and respect. Troy was truly a man of integrity and will be greatly missed by the many family, friends, and neighbors who knew and loved him! He is survived by his wife Lori and three sons, Scott, Kevin, and Conrad. Troy is also survived by his parents Roger and Sue Ann Croshaw and 2 sisters, Kristen (Tom) Parker of Redmond, WA, and Candace (Kline) Adams of Queen Creek, AZ, and a brother Tyler (Melissa) Croshaw of Sammamish, WA and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Saturday, December 22nd, 11:30-12:30 p.m. at the LDS Church at 10115 172nd Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052 (across from Hartman Park). Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Roger, Sue Ann, Tyler, Lori -
I was saddened to learn of your recent loss. I pray that our Heavenly Father will asuage the anguish of your bereavement and that you be left only the loving memories of your son, brother, and husband. I still smile as I think of playing softball with Rog and Troy on the same team back in the day -- Troy was not only a great athlete, but a great friend. The world has definitely lost a fun and loving man. My condolences.

Dear Roger, SueAnn, Lori, Scott, Kevin, and Conrad--I believe that that the footprint we make in our earthly journey lasts forever. Troy left his footprint on the hearts of every person he met during his time here and although he will be missed every minute of every day he will never be forgotten. His legacy is large and there is no doubt that you, or any of us who had the pleasure of knowing Troy, would trade a single moment of time and love shared with him. His love for all of you will stay with you forever--eternity. We all grieve with you and hold you in our hearts; but we rejoice as well.
I send my love to each of you,
J-Anne

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Troy, and cutting his hair this past year. I always looked so forward to him sitting in my chair so that I could listen to all the lovely things that were going on with the childrens lives, sports and travels. He touched my heart, and I respected him, and cherished his virtues and family values. He always made me laugh and always truely cared about what was happening in my life. There was never a time that when we said goodbye, that I wasn't smiling and didn't say to myself.....what a treasure. Lori, I have cut your hair for so many years, and have had the privledge of knowing your whole family thru our visits, and I just want you to know that I am so grateful for the years. I love you dearly and I am thinking of you with sadness, prayers and love.

I met Troy through his father Roger when my brother Scott and I visited their grocery store. At the time we were all busy independent grocers in the Seattle area. You could tell that Troy and his brother were just like their dad, friendly, hard working and having fun doing what they loved.
Our prayers are with the Crowshaw family at this very tough time.
