Norma Marie Croshaw, Our mom, grandma & GG went to her eternal home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Born in Seattle, WA on March 13, 1934. Norma was adopted by August and Marie Haines when she was nine days old. She was raised in Port Townsend, WA where she graduated as class salutatorian in 1951.
In September 1951, she married Fred Lopeman and they had five children; Kristine Lensegrav Lake Havasu City, AZ; Karen Donnelly Olympia, WA; Kirk Lopeman (Zandal) deceased 11/05/2022 Kennedale, TX; Karleen Brown (William) Easton, WA; Kelly Salzer (Gus) Newport, WA. After her divorce, she married Frank Radcliff (deceased) and they had one daughter Kaye Campeau Tacoma, WA. Frank and Norma built KM Mobile Home Park in 1980 and it was sold by her in 1999.
Norma attempted to find her birth parents for many years but could not locate them. She did find relatives through the current DNA testing. Norma retired from employment with the Federal Government in April 1988. She had purchased Top Flite Travel in 1985 and remained its owner until she sold it in 1995. She loved to travel and visited over 20 countries. In 1997, she started volunteering at the Olympia Senior Center in the travel department and then became Trip Coordinator for many years.
In April 2000, she married Max Croshaw. Max passed away in May 2005. She returned to the Olympia Senior Center in 2010 as Travel Coordinator after a five year absence and terminated October 2013.
She was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary 318. She enjoyed playing card games especially pinochle and taking casino trips. She is survived by her five children, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been made with Funeral Alternatives and service will be held on November 10, 2024 at 10:30am.
