Wanda Wells Obituary

Wanda Zallinger WELLS Wanda passed away June 28, 2005. She was born in Harbin Manchuria September 24, 1922. The family immigrated to the United States in 1924 and settled in Seattle. Wanda attended Warren Avenue grade school, Roosevelt High School and the University of Washington. She was a member of Alpha XI Delta sorority. Wanda loved the outdoors having a summer cabin on Whidbey Island. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. Wanda was a member of the Sand Point Country Club, the Seattle Yacht Club and the Sand Point Methodist church. She is survived by her son Tom Jr., her daughter Jean Hamerslag and her two grandchildren Carrie and Blake Hamerslag. There will be no memorial service at her request. Remembrances may be made to Dr. Helena Chang's research work on a breast cancer vaccine. Revlon/UCLA Breast Center, 200 Medical Plaza, Suite B265-1, Los Angeles, CA 90095-7028.

Although I don't remember her as I was very small when I met her and Rudy, I want to wish condolences on behalf of all the Meier family that are left, including Gwyneth Meier Templeton, Pamela Templeton Hughes, and myself, Jerie Hurley Peruchini.
