Johnny WIMBLE Obituary

Johnny WIMBLE Johnny Wimble born August 6, 1985 left this earth on April 9, 2010. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter (Buster) Wimble (1988). John grew up in the Kirkland area playing Steeler football and Kirkland little league. He graduated from Juanita High School and the San Diego Golf Academy and was pursuing his passion of becoming a professional golfer. Johnny's friends surround us with love and remind us that he was a loyal, devoted friend and fiercely protective of those he loved. Johnny was a dreamer and always had a plan to reach his next goal. He recently achieved one and that was of getting a boxer puppy "Bella". When you saw them together, it was hard to tell which one was more of a puppy. There will be a service for Johnny at 11:00am on Saturday April 17 at Inglewood Presbyterian Church 7718 NE 141st Street, Bothell, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, 19802 NE 148th Street, Woodinville, WA 98077 in memory of Johnny Wimble. Until we meet again, may God bless you as he has blessed us by being your parents. Much love Mom, Denise Furneaux and Dad, Phil Hanson.

John worked with my husband a few years ago at Sea Ray and was friends with my son Josh. He was just at our house a few weeks ago showing us pictures of his puppy and telling us how she was going to go to doggy camp. He was a very polite, well mannered young man and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Denise and Phil, my thoughts and prayers have been with you this week, and will continue in the months ahead. As you know, I met Johnny through his friendship with my nephews Matthew and Mark. It was a pleasure to watch Johnny grow from a little boy playing Kirkland Little League, and Steeler Football, to a bright and energetic young man pursuing his dreams. Whenever we were visiting the Brames at the same time, we would share humor, life stories, plenty of hugs and smiles. His smile, and beautiful spirit, brightened my day on more than one occasion. I will remember him with great fondness!
Blessings, Love and Hugs,

Denise & Phil,

We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts.

April 15, 2010

Dear Phil and Denise,
Your son was a good and respectful young man. We never got the chance to know him well but when we did see him, he was always polite and in a time of need, helpful.
When I expressed my feelings with his passing to a friend, what he said is worth repeating.

"There was someone in our family a long time ago who was always sick and near death. She outlived everyone else, to the ripe old age of 104. Then there was the young boy, so strong and full of promise who died at 5 when a pot of boiling water fell on him. It is God who gives life, and God who takes it away. Blessed be the NAME of God."
We will keep your son in our thoughts and prayers.

With Love and Respect,

Mark, Kendra and Joshua

Nesi and Phil,

I am very sorry to hear about Johnny. I was very young when we met but I still remember him and am often reminded of him at my parents house; they have a picture of Johnny and I standing in front of Meme's old house on Cottage Grove. Again I am very sorry for your loss.
