HIGHGATE - Amelia Wimble, age 52, passed away on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at her home in Highgate.
Amelia was born on August 10, 1973, to Gary and Mary (Touchette) Benjamin.
Amelia dedicated her professional life as a dental assistant, where her compassionate demeanor and generous spirit made a lasting impact on both patients and colleagues in the healthcare community. She was a proud alumna holding an associate degree and demonstrated a strong work ethic.
Outside of her career, Amelia embraced the simple pleasures of life. A passionate baker, she found joy in creating treats that brought smiles to the faces of those around her. Her love for crocheting and perennial gardens offered her a peaceful retreat. With a fond appreciation for all things related to pioneer women, and Rachel Ray.
Amelia is survived by her children, Ben and Emily Wimble; fiancé, Edward Poole; parents, Gary and Mary Benjamin; step-children, Natalia, Breanna, Hunter; in-laws, Rick and Peg Wimble, and Kathy and Mike Palmer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins. Amelia was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Wimble on April 29, 2011, and brother-in-law, Bruce Wimble.
Friends and family are invited to Amelia's life celebration to include a visitation on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 5-7:00PM with a funeral service following at 7:00PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488.
