Tyler Wimble Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heald Funeral Home - Saint Albans on Feb. 20, 2026.
Tyler Conlin Wimble, 36, of St. Albans, Vermont, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly, on February 14, 2026. Tyler was born in Burlington to Mindi (Palmer) Picard and Todd Wimble on June 23, 1989. He graduated from Bellows Free Academy St. Albans in 2007. He had a passion for sports, animals and his family.

Starting hockey at age 5, he developed a love of the game that continued into high school, until an injury in his freshman year.

He played football on the St. Albans Steelers in middle school and JV and Varsity football at BFA St. Albans, going all the way to state semi-finals in his senior year.

When he was younger, he adored camping with his mom and has many fond memories of camping with his brother Ryan, their Gram and Grandfather, Jane Wimble and Cornelius Reed.

He was an avid pet lover, with a soft spot for dogs. But he loved all animals. He was always willing to lend a hand, even helping a friend search for their pup at 3am.

He loved his family fiercely. Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday. Celebrating with food and family was a top priority, in addition to watching the Dallas Cowboys play.

Tyler was a self-proclaimed foodie. He loved to talk food prep whether it was grilling, smoking or roasting. He also enjoyed documenting his own culinary adventures in the kitchen.

He was known for his incredibly huge heart of gold and his bear hugs. A great big bear hug from Tyler could brighten up anyone's day.

He loved his nieces and nephew as if they were his own, engaging with them and goofing around, making funny videos and taking silly pictures.

His proudest accomplishment is his seven-year-old daughter, Fiona. She was the apple of his eye. She filled his heart with so much love. He could often be seen around town, taking Fiona out for breakfast and Daddy-Daughter adventures all over town. He shared his love of sports by taking Fiona to her first baseball game at Fenway Park last summer.

Tyler is survived by his daughter Fiona Wimble, her mother Toni Paolercio, his parents, Mindi Picard (Victor) and Todd Wimble (Tali), siblings Ryan Wimble (Erin), Aaron Picard (Priscilla), Emily Parent (Forrest), his grandmother Jane Wimble, beloved nieces and nephew, Sophia Picard, William Picard, Lennon Wimble and Palmer Parent, Aunts and Uncles, Patricia Ledoux, John Palmer (Sharon), Brent Palmer (Peggy Gaudette), Ricky Wimble, and many dear cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Cornelius Reed, and Glendon and Catherine Palmer, Aunts and Uncles Colleen Paquette, Cheryl Palmer, Richard Palmer, Leona (Wimble) Palmer, Gary Palmer and Ron Ledoux.

Tyler's family will receive family and friends on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans. A private service will be held for his family at a later date.
